BnetBot is a Python application written using the Twisted framework for internet applications. It was originally written for the battle.net chat protocol, but has expanded to include IRC, AOL instant messenger, and a few other protocols. It can bridge activity between channels on several networks, has a fully extensible commandset using plugins.

Bnetbot was based on the Pynfo IRC infobot by Exarkun. it is distributed under the Gnu GPL license. it has forked quite a bit from pynfo in its multi-protocol capability, and tie-in to a webserver.
